Spaghetti and Meatballs

Spaghetti and Meatballs

Easy step by step video to show you how to make Spaghetti and Meatballs in your Instant Pot

No more watching the stove, or waiting for the water to boil. This spaghetti and meatballs recipe only requires you to do one thing – put the ingredients INTO the pot in the right order. It only gets easier and easier with the Instant Pot!

In my example, I am cooking with precooked Ikea meatballs and a jar of tomato sauce. What makes it even easier? There’s no need to watch the pot.

Now I have some Tips and Tricks below.
Cooking with Pasta Tips:

When placing spaghetti and spaghettini into the Instant Pot, break them in half so that they fit into the pot.
Next, drop your pasta is a criss-cross fashion.  This prevents the pasta from sticking into clumps when it cooks. And remember to
submerge the pasta as much as possible so that you don’t get any uncooked, hard pasta when it’s complete.
Now, don’t worry if the pasta seems a bit more watery than expected.  The pasta will continue to soak the liquid after it’s cooked.

Instant Pot Quick Release Tips:

When releasing pressure from the Instant Pot, place a tea towel on the vent, then release.  This prevents splashing/spraying.  Careful, the towel will be hot from the steam!
Do make sure all the air has escaped and do NOT force the lid open.
