A go-to healthy breakfast. I usually start this cooking when I wake up, then while that’s cooking (that’s right, no need to watch the stovetop, and no more making a mess!), I head back upstairs and get myself ready for the day. Back down to eat a nice hot breakfast with cinnamon and some fresh fruits. Making Oatmeal in the pressure cooker couldn’t be any easier!

  • 1 Cup Oats
  • 4 Cups Water OR 3 cups Water with 1 cup Milk

Prep time: 0 minutes
Cook time: 13 minutes (including time to pressurize)
Ready in: 13-23 minutes
Serving size: 6

  1.  Combine all ingredients in the instant pot
  2. Set Manual (High Pressure Cooking) for 3 minutes
  3. It’s best to wait for NPR (pressure to release naturally) when Oatmeal is done as the liquid will spew out of the vent during a QR (quick release).
