  • 1 cup ground pure black sesame
  • 4 cups water
  • ¼ cup Rice Flour red label bag
  • ¼ cup white sugar (1/2 cup rock sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil optional
  • pinch salt

Ingredients for Keto version

  • 1 cup ground pure black sesame
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon xanthum gum powder
  • ¼ cup sugar substitute (erithrytol)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • pinch salt


  • Open Instant Pot. Add all ingredients to Instant Pot liner and stir.
  • Select high pressure cooking for 1 minute.
  • When done, release pressure slowly. Stir again and serve. Refrigerate if you like it cold.

  2. The whole family loved it, including my picky toddler! Mine came out a little more watery than I expected. I didn’t use the oil the first time so I will try that next time. My family is asking for me to make it again already! 🙂
