Black Sesame Pudding 芝麻糊

Another tasty Chinese dessert. Who needs to go out to eat when you can make this so quickly and easily in your own kitchen. Instant Pot Black Sesame Dessert – Chinese Black Sesame Pudding 芝麻糊. I have also included a recipe for a keto version of this dessert ans it’s a must try. Check it out!

Black Sesame Pudding


  • 1 cup grounded pure black sesame

  • 4 cups water

  • 1/4 cup Rice Flour (red label bag)

  • 1/4 cup white sugar or 1/2 cup rock sugar

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional)

  • Pinch of salt


Ingredients for Keto version

  • 1 cup ground pure black sesame

  • 3 cups water

  • 1 teaspoon xanthum gum powder

  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute (erithrytol)

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • Pinch of salt


Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 11 minutes (including time to pressurize)
Ready in: 16 minutes
Serving size: 8


  1. Add all ingredients and stir / mix.
  2. Select high pressure cooking for 1 minutes.
  3. Release pressure slowly. Stir again and serve. Refrigerate if you like it cold.
